Precipitous Rock

Steadfast, immovable, ages old
This rock has stood
Perched
Atop a precipice
Surveying is domain
When
For the first time
In millennia
A creaking
Of the earth,
And though struggling
To retain its glory
Is brought down
Humbled
Longingly gazing up
At the grandeur it has lost

  1. I enjoyed reading this piece a lot. It is a very good narative, but I think it would sound really cool as a poem. Also, I like how you included a picture, it helps the reader really understand your point. Nice job.

  2. This was a good poem. I think it would be better if you made it longer because right now it seems a little short. Otherwise Nice Job!
